I wanted to quickly show what the virtual studio process is like. I created this thing called artists as a virtual studio, and I was showing just on a zoom call this morning, just 30 minutes ago, how it went essentially, as individuals were speaking and as concepts were being provided, I thought I would sketch something out in 3d. I was doing this before the call and took a few pre-made assets, from this, but just wanted to go through here real quick. You can see up in the right corner of the 2d camera view as I am actually recording, in 3d space as if this was a movie set, essentially in real time, I am hitting record and you can see the 2d cam view popping up there and just changing my angle as I go around for better view.
You can see that I can essentially do a fly through here and change my ankle. Again, this real-time production allows an artist, as myself 3d artist, to be able to quickly concept something out or really, this is previous. It doesn't look pretty, but it essentially gives you an idea for what something could look like very quickly and where, something could go with very quick changes. You see, I went through a wall there and this allows for very quick prototyping and, discussions in real time with a team, or you can actually take something that didn't exist before, and then essentially create, a very quick movie trailer scene with a previous and then make it look pretty afterwards. The very cool, objective I would say is to be able to take a single person and just have some fun.
Instead of it taking months or years, you're really quickly just putting something down. I think it's very important just to get the ideas across visually very quickly, and then, changes can be made on the fly, in an instant. I think that production time and the cost goes down drastically.
